WILDTRAK GRAPHICS: Love it or hate it?

26

As we draw closer to the launch of the 2021 Ford Bronco, the missing pieces of this puzzle are coming together. The latest piece comes in the form of specialty graphics on the Wildtrak series Bronco. Images emerged yesterday on Bronco 6g of the hood graphic but we can now add to the discussion with images of the side graphics that will be positioned at the bottom of the doors.

These graphics appear to be a vehicle personalization option so we are speculating they won’t be ‘standard’ on each Wildtrak, but rather an optional accessory like we’ve seen on other vehicles like F150, Raptor, and Mustang. These graphics compliment the gloss black trim pieces that are already featured on this series such as the mirror caps, bucking Bronco emblem, and grill. What do you think of these graphics? Love them or hate them? Would you order them? Let us know!

  1. I don’t hate the graphics, however not planning to order them, I think the hood graphic is questionable, be nice to have a “Omit hood graphics” option. I don’t care for most stickers on any vehicle as I think they appear cheap. I’m disappointed the hood on the Wildtrak is not a different more aggressive stamping or has functional heat reduction louvers.

  2. Looks a little like body panel damage or corrosion. Hard no to sound snarky but This should have never been shown to the public as an option to be applied on a new $50K+ vehicle.

  3. The hood panel is not bad but I’ll pass on the doors. Love the black painted hard top, still can’t believe they removed it from both WT and FE the day before B&P went live…ugh.

  4. I like the hood graphic. I mean I would op not to have it if given the choice. I am very pleased the side graphics are optional!

  5. I have always though these large graphics on vehicles, especially the raptor, makes the truck look like a child’s power wheel.

  6. Wildtrak was my back up if I could not get the badlands to stay with in my budget by the time I added the V6 and Sasquatch package. But now they ruin it for me with the tacky interior offering along with this uninspired graphics!

  7. Don’t like it. The graphic is not bold enough. The badge is good. The graphic is not. I will not pay for it or put it on my Bronco

  8. Ford, please spend more time on interior materials, colors and offerings. Forget stickers. We have set expectations based on what we’ve been seeing on these prototypes but we aren’t seeing what we were promised. Why no Highland green? Why no brown leather wheel or accents? We are the early adopters and should be rewarded, not penalized, for supporting Bronco sales.

  9. Old school stripping or multi fade tones (again old school) would probably be a safer please-everybody bet. Whatever Ford doesn’t make available day one, the aftermarket will supplement later. So not a big issue. Maybe since the wild track sines standard with the 2.7, functional dual cold air intake vents on the hood would be a more desirable feature

  10. I like the vinyls for the Wildtrack! I know some don’t prefer vinyls at all and no one should be forced to have them. But these are “rugged outdoor” looking and unique to the Wildtrak. Not at all like the totally generic straight stripes on the First Edition that gives you no idea whatsoever that it’s a First Edition – just meh.

  11. Don’t care for them. Need to have an option to delete them. Interesting how the picture shows the black painted hardtop, but we can’t get one? Till probably late 2021 or early 2022… Come on Ford you are better than this!

  12. Disappointed with the selection of graphics with no real options. I dont want them on my Bronco. The next disappointment is no painted hardtop. Ford where are you going with this? Its just not what I was expecting. You need to up the game on this one Ford. We are all looking for more and getting less.

  13. Hate it not worth the $595. Forget the graphics and address the modular top issue and B&P being full of bugs and give the consumer what they are asking for.

With all these changes I am not cancelling my reservations but probably will push to late 2021 or 2022 model year to get some different and upgraded items that were originally supposed to be standard that are not now. I originally reserved a Wildtrak and have bouncing between a badlands and a wildtrak.

Think is if ford gets off their rear and figures this out they could really stand a chance to increase their sales with Bronco customers and fans. With the supposed 190,000 reservations they have right now that equates to somewhere between $5,500,000,000 and almost $15,000,000,000 depending on number of reservations converted and average price of vehicle. Would say after 3rd qtr 2020 performance and losses in 1st and 2nd qtr they would be quick to make as many changes within reason to boost the profit margin. I for one think the interiors need some real work and the brand manager and Jim Farley really need to listen. Who thinks of colors like Navy Pier or these other interior seat color combos? Stick to some simple colors out the gate of cloth, marine grade vinyl and leather. Let the consumer black it out if they want etc. I bet you would see quite a few of those roll off the line in a quick fashion.

The other thing I would sure like to see is a list of the 200+ dealer installed options. It needs to be available before I go to my dealer. I am sure many other can see the importance of this in order to have time to research and look at reviews to what I may or may not want instead of having to go back and forth with the dealer and visits etc.

Maybe the people who have confirmed #FORDBRONCO reservations (which means they have a #FORD account) can go to a reservations only link/website to look at these?

    Just thoughts.

    1. Well said, scrap the cheezie graphics…also, I would be terribly pissed if year two or three produces a V-8 or 3.5 TT with at least the current year 430 horsepower and 570 lb.-ft. of torque and I bought the first year after my wife told me I should wait to avoid first model year issues!

  14. Have WT on reserve, but seriously rethinking of buying, interior design is ugly as well as graphics, only choice is to pick different model like BL

  15. Would be nice if the FE had a hood covering like this as an option instead of or in addition to the stripes it’s got now. I mean, its a somewhat exclusive model yet the interior is available on a lower spec Bronco (Outerbanks), better hood decal now available on a model below the FE, Wildtrak?! Don’t get me wrong, cool option on the Wildtrak but makes someone like me that has a FE reservation feel a bit lukewarm.

  16. The stickers look good the MIC top looks cheap. The fact that you used Silver with the MIC top in dark lighting shows you want us to like it. But those who have FE and Wildtrak reservations should just wait for the black Mod top.

  17. Ford, course correct interior/exterior offerings ASAP.
    1. Many with WT reservations (myself included) seriously considering other models due to medium sandstone being only option. Marine vinyl, great idea..don’t lock in the colors…let consumer decide.
    2. Graphics: Hood acceptable, door graphic not worth the price
    3. Interior accent colors (ie grab handles) and stitching should match exterior color selection.
    4. Shadow black top bait and switch to MIC another disappointment easily fixed before go live
I digress from graphics, but needed to provide feedback prior to go live.

  18. I’ve Never been a fan of graphics on a car. I always thought it took away from the clean lines of the original design. However these are great and I really like them.
