I think I am around 170,000 in early nov and assumed I will be a MY22. I was trying to guess the crossover thinking a production run of 100,000 and a cancellation rate of 10% would put time stamps of over, say 120-140k into MY22

Great estimate...
However, MY22 production would usually begin July 2021. Maybe everyone gets MY22?

It would make sense to me for Ford to do that. The distinction between MY21 and 22 seems blurry to ,e given this rollout and that all are presold. Not sure what differences will be for 22, but guessing a few colors and maybe how features are packaged. Might be in Fords interest to just make 22s

150,000 in the first two weeks and 190,000 by the end of October. Supposedly the numbers came from Ford, but I would guess Ford has already revised numbers downward to account for cancellations. I think they would want to downplay the numbers somewhat to help ward off inflated analyst projections. Pre-delay rumors said the reservation cutoff was September 18th. My guess is the date is in July, and I wouldn’t be surprised if only the first day or two get the MY21 if they don’t bag it all together. Maybe it will come down to the FE being the MY21?

Ford had originally said that September 18th was the MY21/MY22 cut-off, but their recent allocations say they are only going to build about 30% of the 190,000 reservations as MY21. That first 30% of reservations was made within two or three days of the reservation banks opening in July. So if you didn't order in the first couple of days, you will likely get a MY22.

Some dealers received 30-50% in the first night. Others received their first 30% of orders in the first week.

Ford is going to have a situation where first night orders will be 22my and those that ordered 5 days after get 21my. That sucks!

My wife and I both ordered FE'S on 7/13. Both going with the late availability black interior and black mod Hardtop. Per the info from Ford it sounds like late summer on our Broncos. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see them in the fall or winter months.I also reserved a Wildtrak on 7/16, but going to opt for a my22 with that reservation, as I might be interested in the Heritage Edition.
