We talked to noted Bronco content creators, Ben Peacock and Cooper Pierce of the of the BadXBronco and Utah.Bronco Instagram accounts, about what they think of the new badging for Broncos equipped with the Sasquatch package. Ben’s IG page is a great collection of high-quality images of Bronco and he’s made one of the coolest Bronco cosmetic accessories so far, we’ll let you head to his page to see what we’re talking about. Coop is regular in the Bronco Nation forums and at Bronco events. His photography is some of the most unique and recognizable in the Bronco-sphere.
Ford is talking about the 2021 Bronco’s modularity again. A few select builders have been given a chance to see just how customizable Bronco can be. We saw this demonstrated before with Ford’s SEMA Bronco build, but now for the first time third parties get a chance to play with Ford’s new open air 4x4. The results speak for themselves.
For the uninitiated, getting out in the wild can be difficult. Bryan Cranston voiceovers aside, the beauty of the North American wilderness is special and, for many, outside the reach of their experience and technical ability. Ford is trying to change that with an app and a suite of capabilities unlike anything ever attempted in a vehicle. Bronco Nation got a chance to sit down with the Senior Product Manager for Navigation at Ford and talk about the FordPass Performance app and we feel like this could be Bronco’s most important contribution to the world of off-road adventure.
With news that the Easter Jeep Safari will resume March 27-April 4, many in the community have asked whether or not Ford will participate with the new Bronco. Originally started by members of the Chamber of Commerce in 1967, and now organized since the 1980’s by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers (www.rr4w.com), the Safari has become a major event for accessory suppliers and manufacture to debut new products. In fact, as reported by Motorauthority earlier this month, Jeep is expected to reveal an electrified Wrangler Concept at this years event.
Since 1967, the Easter Jeep Safari has been held in Moab, Utah, unfortunately this streak ended in 2020 due to COVID-19 at was at risk of being cancelled again this year. Fortunately, an outpouring of support by the four-wheeling community to the Grand County Commission administrator, Chris Baird, led to an amendment to the ordinance during a meeting on February 16.
